Social Research Methodology

I. Course Description

Social research methodology is a discipline for investigating how to perform analysis by data information. Starting from a living example, basic concepts and characteristics of social research methodology, relevant survey, statistics, analysis and test methods, and how to apply the social research methodology particularly to various public administration practice activities such as prediction and decision-making are all vulgarly and accurately elaborated.


Through learning, students can systematically understand main ideas of the social research methodology, master common social research methods, cultivate their capability of quantitatively analyzing public administration issues, and apply fundamental social research methods in academic dissertation research and later work.
